Preferred U.S. Service Provider for IDEAL/Contex Scanners |

September 25, 2003, Rockville, MD - IDEAL.com has named Kodak Service & Support
preferred U.S. service provider for its large format IDEAL/Contex scanners. Under
the agreement, Kodak Service & Support will provide both warranty and post-warranty
service, which includes onsite maintenance as well as installation support.
Kodak will support a full range of 25-inch wide to 54-inch wide large format
IDEAL/Contex scanner models with multiple configurations for a total of 19 products.
These scanners incorporate advanced imaging technology for high-quality color and
monochrome scanning and copying applications for use in the reprographics, computer-aided
design, geographic information systems, and graphic arts markets. In addition, the
scanners have applications for document archival, copy ships, POP/exhibit providers,
pre-press, sign and billboard production, and architecture and engineering offices.

As the largest U.S. distributor of Contex scanners, IDEAL offers solutions for scanning
and scanning services, raster editing, indexing, raster to vector conversion, document
management, viewing, printing, and planroom solutions for large format color and monochrome
applications.
