for Consistent Software, launches a revolutionary Online PlanRoom Editing Tool,
WiseImage 6.0 for Windows. WiseImage 6.0 enables Reprographers, Contractors, Engineers,
and Cartographers to restore, update and edit drawings in raster format. This means
that users of an IDEAL Online PlanRoom can use intelligent raster editing tools to create
and update raster-vector drawings in the same manner as in a traditional CAD package.
WiseImage 6.0 provides a surprisingly diverse functionality for color, grayscale and monochrome images.

WiseImage 6.0 is a standalone raster-vector application with an open architecture.
New comfortable Windows XP-style interface with various customization options, new
sophisticated tools and productivity enhancement make the new WiseImage an ultimate

In version 6.0 a user can stream the power of a raster-vector (raster images overlaid
with vector elements) editor and raster to vector converter by a fantastic set of
original processing tools and the ability to develop custom ones in scripting host.

Using WiseImage, you can clean up, edit, update and convert to vectors scanned drawings,
sketches, maps and other graphics. WiseImage for Windows introduces CAD-style editing
of raster images.

Working with Any Kind of Images
|
In WiseImage it is possible to process bitonal, color and grayscale raster images,
change their basic characteristics: resolution, size and color space. User can easily
manage colors of the image and create/edit palette settings for scanners in the Color
Classifier. Advanced tools for conversion of color space are available, such as Adaptive
Binarization which operates perfectly with blueprints scanned in grayscale mode.

Raster Correction Tools
|
WiseImage offers a wide range of features to enhance color and monochrome raster
images, such as deskewing, cropping, rotation, color and monochrome filtering,
color correction, elimination of linear and non linear image distortions, etc.
You can correct images using a predefined set of commands with one click.

Raster Objects and Hybrid Graphics
|
WiseImage hybrid technology enables you to use the same tools to select both vector
and raster objects (raster lines, arcs and circles). Both raster and vector objects
have properties (line type, width, marker type, etc.) and precise geometry which you
can change in the properties dialog. You can also modify the geometry of raster and
vector objects by their "grips". WiseImage treats raster and vector graphics in the
same way as true "hybrid" graphics.

Symbols
|
WiseImage can recognize arbitrary raster symbols by matching them against
predefined templates. Recognized symbols can have a different scale and arbitrary
rotation angle. The program can be trained to recognize new symbols.

Layering of Color Images
|
You can separate color and monochrome images into separate monochrome layers
for further editing or raster to vector conversion.

Semiautomatic Raster to Vector Conversion (Tracing)
|
To convert a raster line, symbol, arc, circle or outline all you need to do is
click a point on the source raster object. Various trace modes are available:
retain, erase, or smooth the original raster. The program can also recognize
raster hatches and trace arbitrary raster curves by polylines. When tracing
polylines, the program can automatically define the most probable trace direction
in crossing point. You can trace monochrome, color and grayscale images.

Automatic Raster to Vector Conversion (Pro version)
|
Improved algorithms for automatic raster to vector conversion allow the conversion
of scanned drawings to CAD files, even in a batch mode. WiseImage recognizes and
converts to vector objects raster lines, arcs, circles, symbols, points, polylines,
outlines and hatches. The program also recognizes line types, weights and dimension
arrows. Resulting vector objects can be distributed by weight, layers and color.
The built in OCR module recognizes arbitrary oriented texts. You can also use external
OCR modules. The program can be taught to recognize new text characters.

Vector Enhancement Tools (Pro version)
|
You can correct results of raster to vector conversion using the automatic (merging fragments,
correcting intersections, removing small sized vector objects, aligning lines, etc.) and
interactive (merging specified fragments) correction procedures.

Open Architecture (Pro version)
|
WiseImage 6.0 provides a revolutionary breakthrough in the ability to use the WiseImage
open architecture and ActiveX technology in automation and scripting tools. The Java
script and VB script editor studio is now available in the WiseImage Pro version. Now
scripts and procedures can be freely created and modified. Moreover, the visual HTML-
form editor has been added for convenience.
The Script Studio and Batch Studio help you to create complex image and vector processing
scripts. You can also use the internal script language, OLE/DDE interface and VB Script
support to execute WiseImage commands or to communicate with other applications.

Flexible User Interface

The WiseImage Interface is fully customizable. You can organize your own
working environmet by creating new menus, toolbars, context menu, hot keys.
The multi document (MDI) interface support enables you to load and process
multiple documents at the same time.
