Rockville, Maryland, July 15, 2005 - IDEAL,
the largest U.S. Distributor of Contex scanners, today announced the
newest addition to its comprehensive family of large format imaging
solutions -the IDEAL / Contex PUMA HS 36 Color Scanner. This
tri-camera 600dpi optical color and monochrome scanner is fast and
easy to use. The PUMA features the latest development in scanning
technology-iJET Technology. This full color scanner has a powerful
built-in Linux processor to help process the data quickly and
efficiently. The new iJET Panel contains an 'easy to use' menu system
that enables the setup and activation of full scan-to-print and
scan-to-file options directly at the scanner.

When coupled with the Seiko LP1010 printer, and
IDEAL ScanOS or IDEAL PrintOS, the PUMA HS 36 provides a fast front
end for high speed monochrome scan-to-print applications. In
addition, with its efficient color scanning speeds and advanced image
quality, the PUMA HS 36 makes a perfect front end for any large
format color inkjet scan-to-print application.

"Why purchase a monochrome multifunction LED device, when you
can have both monochrome speed to feed the Seiko LP1010 printer and
color capability to feed your color inkjet printer?" asks Jay Magenheim, president of IDEAL.com.
"With the PUMA HS 36 customers can have the best of both worlds.
That's what I call true value."
