IDEAL has consistently been Contex's largest US-based distributor of wide-format scanning and imaging solutions, since 1988. This acquisition is designed to provide stronger and more direct support to IDEAL's large format scanning business partners, distributors and dealers. Additionally, consolidation of the Scanners Distribution Division with Contex enables IDEAL to focus on growth and customer service in their other offerings: IDEAL PlanRooms, IDEAL Software Solutions and IDEAL Scanning and 3D Printing Services.
