RasterID and WiseImage Raster Tools for Indexing and
Editing Scanned Images from HP Designjet 4200 Scanner

June 17, 2003, Rockville, MD - Today, IDEAL.com announces that RasterID, automatic indexing software, and WiseImage, raster editing software, are compatible with the HP Designjet 4200 scanner. Technical Tips:   Powering Down Your Scanner
Are you using the Advanced Power Management System of your scanner? Remember, when turning off the power to your scanner, use the power button located on the keyboard. This places the scanner in a power efficient stand-by mode, thus allowing the internal temperature of the scanner to be brought to its optimal working temperature more rapidly. Running with the right internal temperature is of utmost importance when doing high quality scanning through sensitive CCDs. For even more convenience, you can program the scanner to turn on and off through the WIDEsystem timer function. Standby modes require approximately 35 watts of power consumption.
