3D Printing Model Specifications

• Model parts are made of a plaster-based powder bound together with a water-based binder and hardened with an epoxy hardening fluid. Models may be printed in color. Model parts may be sanded and painted for a finished appearance.

Turnaround time is determined on a job-by-job basis. It is our intention to deliver individual models / parts within 24 to 48 hours.

File Submission

In order for us to make a 3D Print, we need a CAD file from a 3D application such as Autodesk: Architectural Desktop, Revit, Civil 3D, Bentley Triforma, FormZ, Sketchup, Rhino, Archicad, Catia or SolidWorks. The native file must be saved in STL file format for input into the printer. Send your file to rmccollum@ideal.com.
