Create a multi-page

You can create a multi-page file in two ways:

1. Scanning

Scan to an existing file. When you save a scan to a file already existing, IDEALScanOS asks you if you want to add the scan to the file as a new page. Instead of getting prompted each time you save a scanned image to an existing file, you can check the menu item Preferences è Scanning è When Scan File Exists è Add Page. If you are in the Archive station and wants to add a new page to an existing file click on the button $image\scanbtn.jpg$ and IDEALScanOS will switch to the Scan Station with the selected file name and scan ID.

2. Combining existing files

Select records in the record list view in the Archive Station and click on Archive è Batch Operation è Combine… or click on the toolbar button $image\combine.jpg$ . IDEALScanOS then prompts you for a file name, a scan ID and for deletion of the old records.
