You can add external image tools to the Tools menu in the Archive station. When you select a record in the scanner archive, you click on one of the external image tools menu items and the tool will start up with your selected record image. Click on the menu item Tools è Customize to attach external image tools to the Tools menu. Click on Add and enter the information below:
Menu Text
Enter the text you want to appear in the Tools menu.
Command
Click on … and select the executable file you want to be able to execute from IDEALScanOS or enter the path and name of the executable file.
Arguments
Enter arguments if any to the executable file.
Initial Directory
The initial working directory for the executable file.
You can remove an image tool by selecting it and then click on Remove. Order the image tools by selecting an image tool and then click on Move Up or Move Down.
Click on the menu item Tools è Tool Fileformat if you want IDEALScanOS to prompt you for a file format every time you click on an external tool. IDEALScanOS will then convert the selected image file to your specified file format and then start the selected image tool with the converted file.
