The following image functions can be used whenever an image is displayed in the image window in the Scan- or Archive Station. In the Archive station you can also select several images and then perform the image function as a batch.
You can zoom-in on a drawing with the mouse by dragging a rectangle while holding the left mouse button down. To zoom-out click with the right mouse button in the image window.
With the Image Toolbar you can perform the image functions mentioned below.

Information
Gives information about a current image.
Reverse
The Reverse function flips the image horizontally, along the vertical axis.
Flip
Flips the image vertically, along the horizontal axis.
Invert
Inverts a black/white image. You can use it to turn a positive into a negative or to create a positive image from a scanned negative.
Auto Crop
Automatically removes the white area around an image.
Rotate 270º
Rotates an image 270º clockwise.
Rotate 90º
Rotates an image 90º clockwise.
Print
Prints the image and saves print information in the printer archive. If you have selected an area on an image, see below, you can define that only the selection should be printed.
Resize
To resize an image click on the menu item Image è Resize… A dialog box then appears. You can change the number of pixels in width and/or height by using the scrollbars. Check the Keep Aspect box if you want to keep the width/height image ratio. Checking the Interpolate box will give the best result of the resizing but the resizing will take longer time.
Selection of an area on an image
To select an area on the image, press down the Ctrl key and click with the left mouse button or click on the menu item View è Selection. Click on one of the small rectangle corners with the left mouse button and drag it to the wanted size. The selected area can be used in the functions Print and Crop, see below.
To remove the selection click on the View è Selection sub menu item again.
Crop
It's possible to manually crop an image by selecting an area and then clicking on the menu item Image è Crop.
Measurement & Alignment
In the Scanner Archive or in the Scan Station you can make image measurements. You do this by selecting the View è Ruler sub menu item or by pressing Ctrl and click with the right mouse button to set the view in "Ruler Mode". You can move and size the ruler by dragging the anchor points of the ruler line with the mouse. Information on length and angle can be seen in the status bar. Having a measurement line present on the image, you can now click on the menu item Image è Align and the image will be aligned according to the angle of your line. To leave "Ruler Mode" select the View è Ruler sub menu item again.
Auto Align
Aligns the image if it has a drawing frame.
Despeckling
Removes speckles from an image.
Clear Image Function
Click on ImageèClear to clear the current selection.
