If you have several scanners connected to your computer, please select a scanner before proceeding with scanning. You select the scanner by clicking on the menu item Main è Select Scanner. To start a scan please go to one of the scanning stations: Copy , Prescan or Scan. Insert your drawing into the scanner. IDEALScanOS then starts the scan based on your scanner settings and displays the scanned image on-line in the image window. Click on the menu item Preferences è Viewing to select the display mode: Normal, Favor Black or Gray to Scale. Click on the menu item Image è Zooming or use the View Options toolbar to select how the scanned image has to be displayed in the image window: Best Fit, Fit to Width, Physical- or Scanner Size.
If you already have inserted a drawing into the scanner and you go to another scanning station, the drawing is repositioned in the scanner and a new scan starts.
