The database used in IDEALScanOS is an MS Access file called IDEALScanOS.mdb. The file is by default placed in the same directory as the IDEALScanOS exe file. You can rename and/or move this database file if you want to. However you then have to start IDEALScanOS with an argument specifying the database name and location. For example if you rename the database to Mydb.mdb and to the location c:\database, create a shortcut for IDEALScanOS and enter the database argument in the Properties è Target edit box like for instance
"C:\Progam Files\Ideal\ScanDEX\Scan\scan.exe" "c:\database\Mydb.mdb".
