| Menu: File > Open Toolbar: Main Description: Opens existing WiseImage document. The opening dialog is standard for Windows environment. The file formats that can be opened in WiseImage are listed in File Type list box. WiseImage gives a new document the name Untitled N, where N is the document ordinal number. | Menu: File > Save, File > Save As Toolbar: Main Description: Saves WiseImage document. Before saving a WiseImage document, you should define the way of storing raster images contained - as linked or as embedded. Note that all created raster images are stored as embedded. If you want to store them as linked, you can save them in the Image Manager window. In this window you can change the status of stored as linked images to stored as embedded. If you opened a single image and applied raster operations to it, you can save image in native format with Save command. If you added vector objects or other images, you can save document contents in CWS format. See also: Tools > Images See

| Menu: File > Import Description: WiseImage
can import Microstation Design files (with DGN extension) through File Import
dialog box.

| Menu: File > Export Description: You can
export an entire WiseImage document or selected objects to AutoCAD or another
CAD system. You can also select desired WiseImage objects from a current document
and export them to a new WiseImage document. You can also export raster to World
format (which implies automatically creating of an additional file with world
coordinates) and export vector data to MapInfo MID/MIF format.

WiseImage supports the TWAIN standard for image scanning. If your scanner supports
this standard, you can read the description of the installation procedure and

Gets image from scanner and inserts it in the WiseImage document. (If no scanner
was specifies, opens the dialog Select Source in which you must specify scanner

| Menu: File > Print Toolbar: Main Description:
You can print an entire document, its visible part, or rectangular area specified.
You can print a scaled image or fit it to current paper size. You can also set
the layout of a printed area on the paper sheet by setting page margins. During
print preparation the screen displays the current printing area and its layout
on the page. In case of multiple pages, the screen displays the distribution of
