Search and Replace

Menu: rEdit > Search and Replace

Toolbar: WiseImage

Description: The search and replace operation finds instances of vector and raster objects and replaces them. Raster selections can be replaced by raster selections or vector objects. Vector objects can be replaced by vector objects. The search and replace operation is performed using the following dialog box.

Before the replace operation can start you need to place the a raster or vector selection in the Find What box - to define a sample for searching and setup the searching parameters. If you intend to replace the objects found, you should also place the replacement vector or raster object in the Replace With box.
You can use either raster data or vector objects as samples. You can use as a sample sets of AutoCAD lines, arcs, circles, and polylines. Vector objects to be found by the command can only consist of line segments, arcs, and circles.

Procedure is accompanied by Search and Replace toolbar. Besides usual search-replace operations, you can move, scale and rotate replacing object.
