Lesson 5. Editing
a Raster Image

Editing raster objects
Choose Open
from the File menu. Open the Raster_Edit.cws file from
the Lesson_5
folder.
- Select the raster circle

- Open Inspector
(choose Inspector from the Tools menu)
In the corresponding fields of Inspector:
- Change the radius from 9.16 to 7 mm.
- Change the line width to 0.6 mm.

- Select the line and move it to the new position.
- Do the same for the second line, which contacts the circle.
INFORMATION: When executing these operations you
can turn on raster snap by pressing the RSNAP button,
located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

- Select the arc with arc selection by reference object method,
and then move it using the grips.

- Select the next line and move it.

- Select the highlighted lines one by one, and stretch them by
grips to the circle.

Using tracing for editing
Method 1

To correct the hatch you can trace the hatch in
Smooth Raster mode.
- Open the Raster To Vector toolbar; press the Trace hatch by fence and
Smooth Raster buttons.
Cross the hatch lines by fence. Double-click or
from the context (right-button) menu choose End.

If you want to control the properties of the created hatch:
Use Make Vector and Erase Raster mode . You can edit the resulting vector hatch in the Inspector
